This project marks a major milestone for me as my first WordPress website and my first large-scale web project. Beginning in Summer 2025, alongside Craig Tommola, I worked on redesigning and relaunching the Haworth Hotel website in Holland, Michigan.

The goal of the project was to create a cleaner site structure, improve the user experience, and introduce a more modern visual design that better reflects the hotel and its connection to Hope College. The redesign focused on simplifying navigation, improving content organization, and creating a more intuitive browsing experience for guests and visitors.

Using WordPress along with custom layout adjustments, I worked to build flexible page structures that remain visually consistent while adapting across devices and screen sizes. Throughout the process, I focused on readability, accessibility, and ensuring that important information such as booking, events, and hotel amenities could be found quickly and easily.

Watching the project evolve from early concepts to a fully launched website was incredibly rewarding. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a platform that supports both the Haworth Hotel and the broader Hope College community, and I’m excited to share the finished result.
