Web Assistant
For this project, I worked alongside Craig Tommola on the Summer 2025 and Winter 2025 editions of the Hope College Magazine, contributing to UX/UI improvements across multiple sections of the site.
A key responsibility was converting the print feature Campus Scene section into a fully functional web experience. This required translating editorial layouts into responsive digital components using WordPress, HTML, and CSS.
Throughout the process, I helped identify and problem-solve usability and layout issues, with a strong focus on readability, accessibility, and content flow across screen sizes. I gained hands-on experience balancing editorial design intent with technical constraints.
This project strengthened my skills in UX-focused front-end development, collaborative workflows, and designing flexible systems that maintain visual consistency while adapting print storytelling for the web.
